الملك الحزين الأخضر أو طائر البلشون دو الضهر الاخضر ، وهو طائر صغير يبلغ ارتفاعه 44 سم تقريبًا ، وفي معظم الحالات غير مهاجر ويتميز بسمات سلوكية مثيرة للاهتمام. موطنهم الطبيعي للتكاثر هو الأراضي الرطبة الصغيرة في المناطق الاستوائية لخليج المكسيك والدول المجاورة في أمريكا الجنوبية ، وقد لوحظ بعض أفراد الملك الحزين او البلشون الأخضر في غرب أفريقيا في اليابان وأستراليا ، وفي ماليزيا._Le héron vert ou le héron à dos vert il est connu aussi sous le nom de héron de mangrove, est un petit oiseau de 44cm environ de hauteur , dans la majorité des cas non migrateur et se distingue par certains traits comportementaux intéressants.
