10 Islands you need to visit in your lifetime- https://youtu.be/vyHAmuUiyUE
10 European Countries South Africans can travel with only 1 visa. There are over 20 countries in total in the Schengen area, however in this video I only talk about 10.
The Visa is called a Schengen Visa and it allows you to travel all these countries. Every country has a discretion on whether to grant entry or not and performs checks in accordance to their laws.
The visa will cost you R1300 ( as per August 2020) and takes between 2 days or 3 weeks to process. You will need to provide proof that you do not intend to stay in Europe, such proof can include (but not limited to) letter of employment, proof of home ownership, bond agreement with a bank, lease agreement, insurances and any other information that will support your application.
Most of these countries use Euro as currency and as of August 2020, 1Euro= R19.75.
Most of these countries are connected by a rail system so it is cost effective and easy to inter-rail between them. Accommodation differs a lot, please check Airbnb, trip advisor, booking.com etc for more accurate prices closer to the time you plan on travelling.
Immigration laws change all the time, so please double check before you go.
Travel in groups, stay safe, obey laws. Thank you for watching this episode of the Vuka Experience, until next time, wake up and travel.
