I am delighted to be part of an initiative that seeks to connect and empower Women across Africa.

Thank you to Mama Yvonne Chaka Chaka for championing our Tanzanian women and to our Minister of Health, Community Development, Gender, Seniors and Children Hon Ummy Mwalimu , Zanzibar Minister Of Industry, Trade and Marketing Hon Amina Salum Ally, and to our Mama, Ambassador Getrude Mongella who has always been a passionate advocate for women’s dignity and aspirations worldwide and to the esteemed guests who joined us at the Africa Connect event in Dar Es Salaam.

“Akili Ya Mama” is a song I collaborated with Mama Yvonne Chaka Chaka to take a stand and support our African Women and I hope to stay involved with similar initiatives for years to come.
