I'm sharing with you my recipe for Yassa Chicken which will be served with couscous instead of rice, it’s super delicious and I’m sure you’ll love it.
Yassa is a recipe from Senegal, made with lots of onions and lemon/lime.

I’m using 1 kg of chicken; you can use the whole chicken if you want but I just used chicken thigh and drumsticks
Like I said, this is an onion stew so we need lot of onions, I have here 1 Kg
For the spices, I will add: ginger, paprika, chili powder, curry powder, black pepper, I will add some dry thyme, bay leaves, it’s optional but you can some bouillon cube and chicken seasoning and salt
I will also add hot peppers
We need some lime, parsley and basil leaves
One head of garlic
Another half onion, green bell pepper and small sliced onion
I also have a mixed carrot and green beans which has been precooked
3 tbsp of mustard and oil
With 500 g of couscous, butter and hot water
