The Croatia national team trained on Saturday ahead of Monday's FIFA World Cup last-16 match against Japan who stunned world football by beating both Germany and Spain in the group stage.
The 2018 World Cup finalists go into the match having finished second in Group F behind Morocco, after registering 0-0 draws against the north African team and Belgium either side of a 4-1 comeback win against Canada.
Japan, meanwhile, staged a dramatic comeback themselves in Thursdays' 2-1 win over Spain, scoring two goals in three second-half minutes to finish top of Group E.
Croatia left-back Borna Sosa missed Saturday's training session with "tiredness" but the Croatian FA have said he will be ready for selection for Monday's game at the Al Janoub Stadium.
The sides have met twice before at the World Cup with Davor Suker's strike earningthe "Vatreni" a 1-0 victory in the group stages in France in 1998 before they played out a goalless group-stage draw in Germany in 2006.
