Morocco’s national football coach Vahid Halilhodzic unveiled today the list of 26 football players that will participate in the World Cup playoff games against the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The first leg is on schedule to take place on March 25 at 4 p.m (Morocco time) at the Martyrs Stadium in Congo's capital Kinshasa.

The Atlas Lions’ second leg will take place at 7:30 p.m. on March 29 at Casablanca's Mohammed V Stadium.

Halilhodzic’s squad includes some international football stars, including Achraf Hakimi, Soufiane Amrabat, Munir Haddadi, and Youssef En-Nesyri.

The list also includes local players, such as Raja Casablanca’s Anas Zniti, Ahmed Reda Tagnaouti and Yahya Attiyat Allah of Wydad Casablanca.

FC Barcelona’s rising star Abde Ezzalzouli is on the list to play with Atlas Lions in the upcoming playoffs, indicating his possible debut in Morocco’s national team.

Both Hakim Ziyech and Noussair Mazraoui are not on the list. Both players have already declined an invitation from the Moroccan Royal Federation of Football (FRMF) to join the team, with Mazraoui citing his rift with Halilhodzic.
