Algeria overcame Morocco in the FIFA Arab Cup 2021 quarter-finals following a dramatic penalty shootout.

Second-half goals from Yacine Brahimi and Mohamed Nahiri sent the game into extra-time where Algeria almost clinched victory following a stunning goal from Youcef Belaili, but Badr Benoun's equaliser meant the two sides could only be separated by a penalty shootout.
