Prof. P. Maseko was one of the speakers in an event with special sessions on Black Political Economy at the University Currently Known As Rhodes (UCKAR). This event took place in the School of Languages and Literatures building on the 5th and 6th of October 2016. Her talk was on the second day of the gathering and the topic of her discussion was "Ulwimi nolwazi: Epistemic access, Language and Meaning from A Sociolinguistic Perspective"
