A report into racism at Stellenbosch University has recommended that the institution consider reviewing its language policy, to remove the possibility of exclusion through the preference for Afrikaans.

This follows numerous incidents at the institution, including a video of a white student urinating on the belongings of a black peer.

UCT masters student Zama Mthunzi, SASCO Western Cape chairperson Sifiso Zungu, and DA national youth leader Nicholas Nyati share their views on the recommendation.
