This is the chorus of the wonderful singer and kora player Sona Jobarteh's song "Gambia". It was written in celebration of the Golden Jubilee of Independence for the Gambia in 2015. Check her music out!
Honestly, I have no Idéa what I'm singing here, but this music really speaks to me, and since I was a kid I loved the sound of west Africa. Never tried to actually sing in any of the languages, and it took some repetition to make it sound right! Hope you enjoy it :)
