Burna boy has come a long way. The singer who has been working very hard this past few years has finally begun to reap the fruit of his hard work. From bagging the BET awards for Best International Act 2019, featuring in Beyonce's Lion King Album and Performing on Jimmy Kimmel live show, It is saved to say the sky is his limit right now. However, the Afro-fusion singer thinks Nigerians love him now because the rest of the world does.
When you know where you're going, you clearly see where you're coming from, and Burna Boy can teach us a thing or two about life journey. The Afrofushion singer rose to fame in 2012 after releasing the lead single "Like to Party". The next time he caught public attention was in 2017 after signing with Bad Habit/Atlantic Records in the United States and Warner Group internationally.
Burna Boy whose real name is Damini Ogulu has tangled in some few controversial dramas in his journey so far.
After tasting international record label deals himself, he went on social media to say that. He feels sorry for every Nigerian jumping into the International deals. A drama that followed after news broke that Tiwa Savage went and got her self a Universal music deal. Of course, Nigerians didn't agree with him.
Another time was during his outburst with organisers of the 2019 Coachella festival for putting his name in small fonts in their main flyer. Nigerians laughed at him and asked why he was complaining.
