The Bronze Bream. This may be one of the most targeted species from the beach/rocks. The reason being, you don't need a R20k reel to land one like a big Grey Shark. You also don't need super human skills (or a drone) to cast out hundreds of meters to find one. We affectionately refer to looking for them as "scratching for Bronzies." The reason being, they are found close to the shore in and around rocks.

In this video, legendary trace maker and pioneer, Ray Thompson shows us how to make a Bronze Bream trace for the angler who doesn't have 20 minutes to watch a higher grade trace and feels they would rather make a trace than buy the Salt Water series of pre-made traces.
